A Big Tight Filter

Imagine a day in your life, you are tired, lost, and falling. You have been struggling for so long all by yourself, you are in need of some form of consoling, a smile, a soft human touch, a few kind words. At that point of loneliness and vulnerability all you need is a filter that’s going to filter those thoughts out and make you feel better.

In other words, all you need is a hug.

A hug is your filter here.

When you feel you are falling apart, go to that anybody of yours and demand a hug. It is going to work like a charm, filtering all the symptoms of loneliness and vulnerability. It has the power to hold those about-to-be broken pieces of you so tight together. You will get all the relief you will ever need.

Pretty cool, isn’t it?

But what if you have nobody with you at that moment?

Well, it isn’t necessary for you to be dependent on others for a hug.

Ever heard of the “Butterfly Hug”?

It is a relaxation technique backed by science.

Here’s how you do it.

Wrap your arms around yourself. Each hands should be in contact with your opposite shoulder. Breathe. Now, start tapping on your shoulder, gently, one hand at a time, like a butterfly. Continue for ten seconds. Take a deep breath.

Repeat the process until you feel better.

Works the same, if only not better!

Much love,
